Land Area: 78 Acres
Ecopiae introduces ecotones through a series of heterogeneous courtyard experiences across 78 acres in Vikhroli, a special area north of Mumbai known for its vast mangrove. The courtyards are a cultural place, a family place, a private place, and a temperature regulator where diverse interaction happens. The core concept was to connect the mangrove with a growing community over a canvas of Godrej Industries’ legacy, which oversaw the use of the light industrial land for over five decades. The mangrove is awakened in Vikhroli, enabling people to take in new experiences that blend the unusual landscape and synergy of uses with traditionally inspired architecture. Grounded in market realities, this master plan adds a one-of-a-kind address to Mumbai’s metropolitan area.
